Smiles for Miles: NZ Sidecar Tours launches in Auckland

Locals and visitors to Auckland will soon have a new way to see the City of Sails, as NZ Sidecar Tours sets off on its maiden voyage this month.

Certified tour driver and co-owner Damian Woolfall delights in taking passengers to littleknown pockets of Auckland in New Zealand’s only two-person commercially touring sidecar andlatemodel Royal Enfield. For some, this is a chance to happily tick an item off the bucket list, while for others, it brings a sense of nostalgia, says Damian.
“Auckland has a lot of hidden gems and our tours seek to capture spots that are not widely known. The sidecar was commonplace before the motorway was built. We deliver an experience that captures this bygone era.”
Would your Dad love one of these amazing NZ Sidecar tours for Father’s day? We’ve got a 4 hour experience to giveaway which includes:

  • NZ Sidecar memorabilia which includes a take-home photo and pins.

  1. I feel like people treat fathers day as a bit of an afterthought, and I know my dad has been on the receiving end of great presents like socks, underwear etc before .. or if hes lucky some fishing gear! But I think this fathers day now that 3 of his 4 kids have moved away from home he deserves an experience, and I know he would really appreciate something unique like this!

  2. My hubby Wayne is mad keen on all petrol driven forms of transport & he’s supported me for the past 3 years while I retrained ~ he took on a lot of responsibility looking after our household, kids & cats so I could qualify in an area I’m passionate about. He’d be in his element enjoying this experience & its his birthday in October too!

  3. After shifting back to Auckland from Melbourne after 5 years, We have been trying to convince my parents to come up from Taranaki to visit us – if Dad had this prize as incentive it would surely give him plenty of motivation to finally visit his (pregnant!) daughter 😀
