What am I watching?
Unorthodox traces a woman’s escape from a Hasidic Jewish community in Brooklyn. A must see on Netflix.
What I am listening to?
My go to morning music whilst baking is Sit with a slouch by Aaradhna and Lux Aeterna (Requiem For a Dream) by William Close & The Earth Harp Collective.

What I am watching?
‘Home Before Dark’, AppleTV+.
Inspired by the true story of nine-year-old Hilde Lysiak, this series is co-directed and executive produced by Jon M Chu (also behind the very different Crazy Rich Asians). A family moves away from New York, returning to their journalist father’s small, sleepy town of his youth. Determined to become a reporter herself, Hilde starts asking uncomfortable questions – and digs out an old kidnapping case that nobody wants to revisit. Even the fact that the investigation might involve her own father doesn’t deter her from pursuing the scoop. Don’t be fooled into thinking that this is only for youngsters for ‘Home Before Dark,’ will draw you in and keep you watching and wanting more.
What am I listening to?
‘Womb’, Purity Ring.
This album – Megan James and Corin Roddick’s third, and their first in five years – revolves around the idea of finding a place of comfort in one’s home. It’s a sentiment that much of the world can get behind right now. Easy listening and great background music, especially for those yoga stretches many of us currently doing at home.

What I am watching?
The Office isn’t just one of my all-time favourite TV shows, but one of my most favourite things, ever. Hadn’t seen too much of the US version, so am currently rectifying that, and very much enjoying doing so.
What I am listening to?
My partner recently watched the Nina Simone documentary on Netflix, so her music’s been mainly hogging the stereo lately, which is just fine by me.
