Celebrate the Season by the Harbour with FISH Restaurant

The festive season is all about gathering, indulging, and creating unforgettable memories. At Hilton Auckland’s FISH Restaurant, they’ve crafted a special Festive Group dining experience designed to bring colleagues, friends, and families together in style. From 13 November through 22 December 2025, groups of ten or more are invited to enjoy an elevated seasonal menu that showcases the best of New Zealand produce with a festive twist.

 

Guests will begin their evening with an amuse bouche of Mini Turkey & Cranberry Sausage Roll encased in a fragrant sage crust, paired with House-Baked Focaccia and Whipped Pumpkin & Feta Dip, with gluten-free bread available on request.

 

To share, the table is presented with vibrant appetizers, perfect for sparking conversation and festive cheer. Highlights include Signature Mediterranean Crab Cakes with Crayfish Lemon, Marlborough Mussels in Coconut Lemongrass Broth, and a rich Festive Spiced Duck & Cherry Terrine with cranberry compote.

For mains, each guest can choose their own festive favourite. Options range from the Signature Herb-Crusted Coastal Lamb Cutlets with Black Garlic Jus, to Pan-Roasted Market Fish with Ginger Lemongrass Cream, or the traditional Festive Glazed Manuka Smoked Ham served with clove and orange reduction. For vegetarian guests, a sumptuous Pan-Fried Pumpkin Gnocchi with Truffle Mushrooms, Hazelnuts, and Whiskey Cream Sauce ensures everyone enjoys a hearty festive plate. The meal is complemented by shared sides of Roasted Root Vegetables with Thyme Honey Glaze and Maple-Roasted Sweet Potato with Smoked Paprika.

 

No celebration is complete without a sweet ending. Choose between a classic Christmas Pudding with Brandy Custard, a light Pavlova with Rhubarb and Seasonal Berries, or a comforting Cinnamon Spiced Apple Pie Tartlet with Vanilla Bean Custard. At $128 per guest, this three-course festive feast is the perfect way to toast the season with your group.

In addition to the set menu, FISH is also offering bespoke Canapé & Grazing Packages for those seeking a more relaxed style of entertaining. Instead of the standard selection, guests can indulge in delights such as Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Chipotle Yoghurt, Salt & Pepper Squid with Preserved Lemon Mayo, Prawn Croquettes with House-Made Ketchup, and indulgent Camembert Wedge Croquettes with Fermented Honey – perfect for festive drinks and canapés by the harbour.
