“Three years ago when my son & his wife came back from a trip to Hawaii they bought us back a gorgeous choc raspberry flavoured coffee. It was divine.
After enjoying the coffee I couldn’t bring myself to discard the grounds, so played with a few ingredients, tried it out & Happy Mama scrubs were created.
The results were fast and conclusive. My skin just kept improving, people were starting to comment, more people were trialing right along with me & everyone loved it. We discovered how great the coffee scrub can be for your whole body including thighs, decolletage and face (avoiding the eye area).
My background in the cosmetic industry coupled with my daughter in laws cience degree added a great mix of creative & practical skills. Designing labels and promotions were a ton of fun and soon we began wholesaling to a couple of cafes, boutique stores, soon to go nationwide.
The Happy Mama name came after my daughter in law had our first grandbaby and I was looking for a gift for new Mamas – Happy Mama seemed like the obvious choice.
We now have coffee and tea scrubs , with a very popular travel size in 5 different types. We still have our initial scrub, and we are developing more.
These can be used safely on both face and body. For BEST results massage on damp skin in circular movements a couple of times per week.
For sensitive skin I recommend the green tea scrub maybe once a week or when needed.
ALL skins will benefit from an exfoliant, these are gentle with NO nasties in them, we trial different oils and especially love macadamia oils, grapeseed & coconut oils.
I’ve worked with some of the most expensive cosmetic brands out there, and honestly you will get the best results from any other products once your skin is prepped & exfoliated. We all exfoliate naturally but not evenly – which is where the Happy Mama scrubs come in.
