Jumper for Jumper

Standard Issue has partnered with Middlemore foundation, to help keep our most vulnerable tamariki warm and well this winter.

With more than 1 in 9 Kiwi kids living without access to basic needs like sufficient food, a good bed, or warm clothing, winter is a challenging time for our most vulnerable local families.

For every Standard Issue Jumper purchased online or in their Newmarket store this winter, a woollen jumper will be gifted to a child in need of an extra layer of warmth.

Access to everyday necessities and a means to keep warm, allows kiwi kids the opportunity to live connected to their whanau as well as helping to combat the cold and preventable illness.

Partnering with the Middlemore Foundation who work closely with local communities ensures the brand is gifting jumper to those who are most in need. This is Standard Issue’s second year running the initiative, one they intend to continue each winter with the hope of gifting a jumper to every child that needs it.

Made locally in their Auckland workroom, the jumpers are made with zero-waste, warmth, and longevity in mind. The knitting of these donated jumpers can also be viewed in their flagship Newmarket store, where the brand has brought their Auckland workroom to life with an industrial knitting machine.

Together we can help warm up winter for our most vulnerable tamariki.
