Hello my friends, it’s that time of year again! With Pohutukawa lining the shore and tinsel and trees aplenty, it’s beginning to feel a lot like… Christmas! After all the Christmas fun, we roll onto New Year celebrations, with music, dancing and fireworks across the country! Our little island nation is first to welcome the new year sunrise and due to this fact and world class music festivals, many people (in the past and future will!) flock to our shores to celebrate!
Soooooo as your music mate, for the festive month of December I thought I’d do a quick update on which of our major New Year’s festivals will be running, which have been postponed and which have been canceled.

Please remember to follow all government health and safety guidelines this festive season, to keep friends and whānau safe and to avoid disappointment at venues and events. Keep in mind that we all have the freedom to make our own choices, however venues and events need to follow the government guidelines if they want to open and operate. It’s super duper important to remember that it has been a tough year for many and you never know what someone may be going through, please please please BE KIND.
