You were living in Bali when you had a health related epiphany. What do you sense it was about your lifestyle at the time that lead you to this moment of realization?
We didn’t realize the scope and depth of the health and wellness scene in Canggu when we first moved there. The options in Bali are amazing, from food, to physical – it was a natural and logical shift.
You discovered jamu – a turmeric based tonic while living in Bali. What differences did you notice in your body and mind that you attribute to this tonic?
The first time you drink Jamu – the immediate thought is, ‘this is simply the healthiest tasting/feeling thing I’ve ever tasted’ and one thing lead to another. Actually we spent quite a lot of time sourcing different Jamus from around our area and took journeys further afield to sample as many different varieties as we could.
What is currently your most popular product and why do you think this is?
Recover – I think for the same reasons as outlined above. It’s incredibly healthy and a load of people write and tell us that it’s helping with various joint or muscle pains.
Explain some of the different ways your products can be taken?
Anecdotally we hear people putting them in smoothies, with teas, sometimes in food but really, the best way is just to drink em straight and enjoy the experience!
What is the number 1 thing you wish more people understood about holistic, everyday wellbeing?
That what may at first seem daunting or difficult becomes easier and easier the more you do it until a point in time when not actively pursuing a healthier lifestyle seems just a silly idea and one that slowly drifts into the past. Like when someone finally stops smoking, after a certain amount of time has gone by, the thought of picking it up again seems like the dumbest idea in the world. It’s a similar concept. The more you do it, the more you do it because the alternative is so unattractive.
