Renaissance: The Age of Genius

Direct from Europe and from the same producers of The Art of Banksy and Michelangelo – A Different View, Renaissance: The Age of Genius is an immersive experience of colour and movement that will transport you on an awe-inspiring journey through the art of the 15th and 16th Centuries, while accompanied by a classical soundtrack.

There will be 10 high-powered projectors wrapping around 3 sides of the exhibition space and a powerful server will synchronize thousands of images into one display of impressive magnitude, bringing to life about 500 works by unparalleled Renaissance artists including Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Sandro Botticelli, Titian and Caravaggio.

The scale of the projection will see the artworks at roughly twice human height, offering a rare insight and new perspective to these famous Renaissance masterpieces while still preserving the spirit of the paintings.

Experience a unique multimedia production from floor to ceiling in the Hunua Rooms of the Aotea Centre this summer.
