Reform Fitness does things a little differently to your standard pilates class. Forget holistic, slow, soul searching pilates and think body enhancing, muscle trembling dynamic reformer pilates.
Founders Jane and Lane returned from London and wanted to bring the latest fitness craze to New Zealand. In doing so, their mission is to change the perception of traditional pilates. The duos dynamic approach is more intense, based on ‘isolate, fatigue, stretch principle’ and the result is the faster toning of long, lean muscles by using a combination of exercise and stretching. Integrated into this is a combined weight training programme which is designed to slim figures, improve posture and build toned muscle.
