From humble beginnings over 60 years ago, operating a small upholstery business in Remuera, Harvey Furnishings quickly became New Zealand’s favourite fabric store. Over the years Harvey Furnishings has developed and grown to become New Zealand’s leading curtain and blind company – with 9 North Island retail stores and an Auckland based manufacturing facility.
Jan Harvey sold the business in 2019 to new owners Wade Glass and Paul Southam who saw great potential in the company, its solid reputation and the history built up over generations of Kiwis buying readymade curtains, blinds and fabric. The brand has since undergone some modernisation, with new branding, products and store locations. As they head into 2022 there are yet more plans to expand the business further.
